Foggy Bottom and Typical Canopy Sites
The Foggy Bottom-GWU Station is one of the busiest subway stations in the Washington Metrorail system as it provides access to George Washington University, Georgetown and the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts. Lourie Architects LLC worked through numerous construction coordination issues to successfully adapt the prototypical canopy design to this busy station.
